October 2, 2018:

150th Birth Anniversary Celebrations of Mahatma Gandhi 

The 150th Birth Anniversary Celebrations of Mahatma Gandhi have been commenced in the Kalimpong Science Centre, Kalimpong. Members of Innovation Hub took active part in these celebrations.  As part of these celebrations, popular lectures on Gandhi and his Views on Science, Technology and Innovation have organized.  Smt. Tannistha Ghosh, Assistant Professor, Kalimpong College and Dr. Rakesh Roy, Assistant Professor, Regional Research Station (Hill Zone), UBKV, Kalimpong have delivered lecture on this topic.

Being an Institutional Member of Innovation Hub, the Hub has felicitated the students of SUMI, Kalimpong for standing first and Chandramaya High School for standing fourth in West Bengal State Youth Science Exhibition cum Competition, organized by Govt. of West Bengal. The program was attended by the members of Innovation Hub and other students.

Workshop on Assemble & Disassemble of Computer’s CPU 

The Innovation Hub has organized two days Workshop on Assemble & Disassemble of Computer’s CPU for the members of Innovation Hub.

October 13-14, 2018:

Workshop on Adobe Photoshop 

 A two day workshop on Adobe Photoshop has organized by Innovation Hub. Members of Innovation Hub participated. The workshops on Photoshop on the first & second days have explained with the very basic tools followed by effective use of tools such as lasso, select, patch, move, layers, effects, texts, colour mixtures and curves. A hands- on- demo has depicted simultaneously along with the explanations on how to edit a picture that is selected.

October 21, 2018:

Invited talk & interactive program

The Mentors of Innovation Hub has demonstrated innovative science models created in Innovation Hub as part of motivation for newly joined its members and in the second half, Sri Dhiraj Pradhan, Sikkim delivered a lecture on innovative science models. The program has attended by the members of Innovation and other school students.

Tod Phod Jod session on Gandhian Innovation

As a part of yearlong celebration of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Innovation Hub has organized a workshop on Tod Phod Jod session on Gandhian Innovation. The session has attended by the members of Innovation Hub.
